Hot Fudge Brownie Bread
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup hot fudge sauce warmed slightly for easier mixing
Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts for extra texture
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray, then line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition to ensure a smooth, well-incorporated batter. Mix in the vanilla extract.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix gently to avoid overbeating, as this keeps the bread tender.
Swirl in Hot Fudge: Gently fold in the warm hot fudge sauce, swirling it through the batter for a marbled effect. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts for extra texture.
Transfer to Pan and Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake to maintain a fudgy texture.
Cool and Serve: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. For an extra indulgent treat, drizzle additional hot fudge sauce over each slice before serving!
This Hot Fudge Brownie Bread is perfect for dessert or a special treat with coffee. Enjoy the rich, brownie-like texture in every bite!
