Decadent Cocoa Fudge Brownies
Rich, fudgy, and perfect for chocolate lovers!
Ingredients:
1 cup 226g unsalted butter, melted
1 cup 200g granulated sugar
1 cup 220g packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 large eggs
1 cup 120g all-purpose flour
1 cup 85g cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup 175g chocolate chips or chunks
Directions:
Preheat and Prepare the Pan:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Line a 9×9-inch 23×23 cm baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy brownie removal.
Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until the sugars are fully dissolved into the butter.
Incorporate the Eggs:
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
Add Dry Ingredients:
Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the wet ingredients. Gently fold the mixture until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Add Chocolate Chips or Chunks:
Fold in the chocolate chips or chunks, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Bake:
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool and Serve:
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, lift them out using the parchment overhang and cut them into squares.
