Chocolate Fondant A rich and comforting

Chocolate Fondant

A rich and comforting dessert perfect for rainy days! Serve with ice cream for the ultimate indulgence.

Ingredients:

100g sugar cane or granulated sugar

100g butter

4 eggs

200g dark chocolate

50g all-purpose flour

Directions:

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 180C 356F.

Melt the Chocolate and Butter:

In a double boiler or microwave, melt the dark chocolate and butter together.

Stir until you achieve a smooth, creamy texture.

Whisk Eggs and Sugar:

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until the mixture becomes light, foamy, and almost creamy.

Combine Mixtures:

Slowly pour the melted chocolate into the egg and sugar mixture, stirring continuously to combine evenly.

Add Flour:

Sift the flour into the bowl and gently fold it into the mixture. Ensure there are no lumps, and the batter is smooth.

Prepare the Molds:

Butter and flour individual molds ramekins or small baking dishes.

Pour the batter into each mold, filling them about full.

Bake:

Bake for 10-12 minutes. The edges should be set, but the centers should remain soft and gooey.

Cool and Serve:

Let the fondants cool slightly before removing them from the molds.

Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dusting of powdered sugar for an extra treat.
