New Orleans Pecan Clusters
Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons heavy cream
2 cups pecan halves
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Spread the pecans on a baking sheet and toast them for 8-10 minutes.
In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Once melted, stir in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
Add the toasted pecans to the mixture, then drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper and let them cool.
