Christmas Cookie Bars
Ingredients:
1 cup 226g unsalted butter, softened 杻
1 cup 200g granulated sugar
cup 100g brown sugar
2 large eggs 讀讀
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups 310g all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder 療
tsp baking soda 蓼
tsp salt 蓼
1 cup 180g red and green chocolate candies like M&Ms
cup 90g white chocolate chips
cup 40g holiday sprinkles
Instructions:
1 Preheat the oven to 350F 175C. Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2 Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. 杻
3 Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract until fully combined. 讀
4 Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined. 療
5 Fold in candies and chocolate chips: Stir in the red and green chocolate candies, white chocolate chips, and half of the holiday sprinkles.
6 Press into the pan: Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan, pressing it down into an even layer. Sprinkle the remaining holiday sprinkles on top for extra festive flair.
7 Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
8 Cool and cut: Allow the cookie bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares. Serve and enjoy!
