Layered Candy Bark – A Sweet Treat in Every Bite
Ingredients:
– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 1 cup white chocolate chips
– 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
– 1/2 cup mini pretzels, roughly broken
– 1/2 cup colorful holiday sprinkles
– 1/4 cup red and green M&Ms
Directions:
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 15 seconds until smooth.
3. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the parchment paper and let it set slightly for 10 minutes.
4. Melt the white chocolate chips in a separate bowl, stirring every 15 seconds until smooth.
5. Pour the melted white chocolate over the semi-sweet chocolate layer and gently spread it with a spatula.
6. Immediately top with crushed peppermint candies, broken mini pretzels, holiday sprinkles, and M&Ms.
7. Let the bark set at room temperature or refrigerate for 1 hour until completely hardened.
8. Once set, break the bark into irregular pieces and serve or package as festive gifts.
