Christmas Frostbite Cocoa
Ingredients:
– 4 cups whole milk
– 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
– 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
– 2 tablespoons sugar or to taste
– 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
– Whipped cream for topping
– Mini marshmallows
– Crushed candy canes or white sugar crystals for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a medium saucepan, heat the whole milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
2. Add the cocoa powder and sugar, whisking until fully dissolved.
3. Stir in the semi-sweet and white chocolate chips, whisking until melted and smooth.
4. Mix in the peppermint extract and vanilla extract for a cool, minty flavor.
5. Pour the cocoa into mugs and top with whipped cream.
6. Add a handful of mini marshmallows on top to resemble snow.
7. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes or white sugar crystals for a frosty finish.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy the cool minty chocolate delight!
