Lemon Drop Cosmo
Ingredients:
2 oz vodka citron vodka recommended for extra citrus flavor
1 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz cranberry juice
1/2 oz simple syrup adjust sweetness to taste
Ice cubes
Lemon wedge for rimming and garnish
Granulated sugar for rimming
Fresh cranberries or rosemary sprig optional, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a chilled martini glass, then dip the rim into granulated sugar to coat evenly. Set aside.
2. In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, triple sec, lemon juice, cranberry juice, and simple syrup. Add ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
3. Strain the cocktail into the prepared martini glass.
4. Garnish with fresh cranberries, a rosemary sprig, or a thin lemon slice on the rim.
