Cupids Sangria
Ingredients
For the Sangria Base:
1 bottle 750 ml rosé wine
1/2 cup triple sec or orange liqueur
1/4 cup cranberry juice unsweetened or sweetened, as preferred 磻
1/4 cup simple syrup adjust to taste
1 orange, sliced into thin rounds
1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1/2 cup fresh pomegranate seeds
Optional for Fizz:
12 cups sparkling water or lemon-lime soda 磻
For Garnish:
Heart-shaped fruit pieces e.g., strawberries or watermelon
Sprig of mint optional
Directions
Prepare the Sangria Base:
In a large pitcher, combine the rosé wine, triple sec, cranberry juice, and simple syrup. Stir well to combine.
Add Fresh Fruit:
Add the orange slices, lemon slices, strawberries, raspberries, and pomegranate seeds to the pitcher. Stir gently to incorporate.
Chill:
Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.
Serve:
Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the sangria over the ice, ensuring each glass has a mix of fruit. Top with sparkling water or soda for a fizzy twist, if desired.
Garnish:
Use a small cookie cutter to cut heart shapes from strawberry slices or watermelon for a festive touch. Add a sprig of mint for a fragrant and elegant finish.
