Rosé Sangria Love Punch
Ingredients:
For the Sangria:
1 bottle 750 ml rosé wine
1/2 cup triple sec or orange liqueur
1/4 cup cranberry juice unsweetened or sweetened, depending on preference
1/4 cup simple syrup adjust for sweetness
1 orange, sliced into thin rounds
1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1/2 cup fresh pomegranate seeds
12 cups sparkling water or lemon-lime soda optional, for fizz
Ice cubes
For Garnish:
Heart-shaped fruit pieces strawberries or watermelon
Sprig of mint optional
Directions:
Prepare the Fruit:
Wash and slice the orange, lemon, and strawberries. Keep the heart-shaped fruit pieces ready for garnish.
Mix the Sangria Base:
In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the rosé wine, triple sec, cranberry juice, and simple syrup. Stir to mix well.
Add the Fruits:
Add the orange slices, lemon slices, strawberries, raspberries, and pomegranate seeds to the pitcher. Gently stir to distribute the fruit.
Chill:
Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld. For best results, chill for 46 hours.
Add Fizz Optional:
Just before serving, stir in sparkling water or lemon-lime soda for a bubbly touch.
Serve:
Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour in the sangria, ensuring some fruit makes it into each glass. Garnish with heart-shaped fruit pieces and a sprig of mint for a romantic presentation.
