Ingredients:

oz 15 ml grenadine syrup

oz 15 ml banana liqueur

oz 15 ml green crème de menthe

oz 15 ml overproof rum e.g., Wray & Nephew

Directions:

Prepare the Glass:

Use a tall shot glass to accommodate the layered ingredients.

Layer the Grenadine:


Pour the grenadine syrup into the bottom of the shot glass, creating the first red layer.

Add the Banana Liqueur:

Gently pour the banana liqueur over the back of a spoon to float it atop the grenadine, forming the yellow layer.

Mix the Green Layer:

In a separate container, combine the green crème de menthe with the overproof rum. This mixture will form the green layer.

Top with the Green Layer:

Carefully float the green crème de menthe and rum mixture over the banana liqueur using the back of a spoon, completing the green layer.

Optional Flaming Presentation:

For a dramatic effect, you can ignite the top layer. To do this, ensure theres a small amount of overproof rum as the final layer. Using a long-handled lighter, carefully ignite the rum. Always exercise caution when handling open flames, and ensure safety measures are in place. Extinguish the flame before consuming the shot.
