Easter Rice Krispie Bars
Ingredients:
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
10 oz 1 bag mini marshmallows
4 tbsp unsalted butter
tsp vanilla extract optional
1 cup pastel-colored M&Ms or candy-coated chocolate eggs
cup white chocolate chips optional
Easter-themed sprinkles optional
Directions:
Melt the Marshmallow Mixture:
In a large pot, melt butter over medium-low heat.
Add mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract if desired.
Mix in Cereal & Candy:
Quickly fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.
Gently stir in pastel-colored M&Ms or candy-coated chocolate eggs.
Press into Pan:
Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
Transfer Rice Krispie mixture into the dish, pressing down evenly using a spatula or lightly greased hands.
Decorate & Set:
If using, melt white chocolate chips and drizzle over the bars.
Decorate with Easter-themed sprinkles.
Allow bars to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
