The Purple Pineapple Smash Tropical Vibes in Every Sip!
Ingredients:
1 cup pineapple juice
2 oz vodka or coconut rum for a tropical twist
1 oz blue curaçao increase slightly to strengthen the blue tone
oz grenadine reduce slightly so it doesnt overpower with red tones
oz lime juice
oz butterfly pea flower tea optional but enhances purple color
Ice
Pineapple wedge & cherry, for garnish
Instructions:
Make the Butterfly Pea Tea Optional, for Extra Vibrancy
Steep butterfly pea flowers in hot water for 5 minutes, then strain and chill. This naturally turns purple when mixed with acid, like lime juice.
Mix It Up:
In a shaker, add pineapple juice, vodka, blue curaçao, lime juice, and ice.
Shake well until chilled.
Create the Purple Magic:
If using butterfly pea tea: Pour the tea into the glass first.
Pour grenadine into the glass.
Slowly pour the shaken drink over the grenadine for the ombré effect.
Garnish & Serve:
Add a pineapple wedge and cherry on top for a tropical finish.
Alternative Color Adjustments:
More Blue? Add a few drops of blue food coloring or a tiny bit more blue curaçao.
