Ingredients:
1 cup buttermilk
1 cups all-purpose flour
cup unsweetened cocoa powder
cup caramel sauce store-bought or homemade
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
cup vegetable oil
1 cup chocolate chips
tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
tsp salt
1 tbsp instant coffee granules dissolved in 2 tbsp hot water
1 cup granulated sugar
Instructions:
1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350F 175C. Grease and flour a loaf pan thoroughly to prevent sticking.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk them together until evenly mixed.
3. In another bowl, blend the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and the dissolved coffee. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
4. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing gently until the batter is just combined. Avoid over-mixing to keep your cake tender.
5. Carefully fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
6. Pour the finished batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula for an even finish.
