Steak and Garlic Butter Shrimp – The Perfect Surf & Turf! 數戀
Elevate your dining experience with this mouthwatering steak and shrimp combo! Perfect for special occasions, its a dish that promises to impress.
Ingredients:
– 12 large shrimp peeled and deveined
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1 bone-in ribeye steak about 1 inch thick
– 4 cloves garlic minced
– 4 tbsp unsalted butter divided
– tsp paprika
– tsp salt
– tsp black pepper
– 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
– Lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the steak by seasoning both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
2. In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the seasoned ribeye steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness. Adjust cooking time as needed for your desired level of doneness. Once done, remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for at least 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
3. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil along with 2 tbsp of butter. When the butter melts, add the peeled and deveined shrimp. Sauté the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they turn pink and opaque.
4. Stir in the minced garlic and sprinkle the paprika over the shrimp. Add the remaining 2 tbsp of butter to the skillet and continue stirring for about 1 minute until the garlic becomes fragrant.
5. Toss the cooked shrimp with chopped parsley to evenly coat them in the garlic butter.
6. To serve, plate the rested ribeye steak beside the garlic butter shrimp and garnish the dish with fresh lemon wedges for a zesty accent.
