Ingredients:
– 2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:
1. Prepare the oven: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a large loaf pan to prevent sticking.
2. Cream the butter and sugar: In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy. This will take about 3-5 minutes.
3. Incorporate the eggs: Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition. Ensure each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.
4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
5. Alternate adding dry and wet ingredients: Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed butter and sugar, alternating with the whole milk. Start and end with the flour mixture, mixing gently until just combined.
