Ingredients:

– 1 cups all-purpose flour

– 2 cups granulated sugar

– cup unsweetened cocoa powder

– cup vegetable oil

– 1 cup boiling water

– 2 large eggs

– 1 tsp baking powder

– 1 tsp baking soda

– 1 tsp salt

– 1 cup chocolate ice cream softened slightly

– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

– cup heavy cream

– 1 cup mini chocolate chips

– 1 cup crushed Oreos

– cup chopped chocolate candy bars like Snickers or Twix

– Chocolate sauce for drizzling

– 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350F 175C. Grease and line two 9-inch round cake pans with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Sift together to ensure no lumps remain.

3. Add the granulated sugar, eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix with an electric mixer or whisk until smooth.

4. Gradually stir in the boiling water. The batter will be thin, which is normal and helps keep the cake moist.

5. Divide the cake batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 3035 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool completely in the pans.

6. While the cakes cool, prepare the ice cream layer. Line one of the same 9-inch pans with plastic wrap. Spread the softened chocolate ice cream evenly into the pan and freeze until solid, about 23 hours.

7. For the ganache, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips in a mixing bowl. Let it sit for 23 minutes, then whisk until the mixture is smooth and glossy. Set it aside to cool slightly.

8. Once the cakes are cooled, start assembling. Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a thin layer of the ganache on top.

9. Carefully remove the ice cream layer from the pan using the plastic wrap and place it on top of the first cake layer.

10. Add the second cake layer on top of the ice cream. Pour the remaining ganache over the entire cake, allowing it to drizzle down the sides for an impressive look.

11. Immediately sprinkle the top of the cake with mini chocolate chips, crushed Oreos, and chopped candy bars. Drizzle chocolate sauce over everything for that extra indulgent touch.

12. To set everything, chill the assembled cake in the freezer for at least 1 hour.

13. When ready to serve, slice the cake and pair it with extra chocolate sauce or a dollop of whipped cream for the ultimate treat.
