Best Snowball Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar, plus extra for rolling
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
1 Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2 In a large bowl, cream the butter and powdered sugar together until smooth and light.
3 Add the vanilla extract and salt, and mix until fully incorporated.
4 Gradually add the flour, mixing just until combined. Stir in the chopped nuts.
5 Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
6 Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden on the bottom.
7 Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes, then roll them in powdered sugar while still warm.
8 Let them cool completely before enjoying these snowy, melt-in-your-mouth treats!
