Spanish Octopus
Ingredients:
1 lb octopus, cleaned and sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges, for serving
Salt, to taste
Instructions:
1 Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the octopus and cook for 40-60 minutes until tender depending on size. Drain and set aside to cool.
2 Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3 Add the octopus slices to the skillet, followed by smoked paprika, red pepper flakes optional, and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes until lightly crispy on the edges.
4 Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges for a burst of flavor.
