Sizzling Sherry Shrimp with Garlic
Ingredients:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tbsp olive oil
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
1 Heat olive oil in a large skillet or sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
2 Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are pink and opaque.
3 Pour in the dry sherry and sprinkle with smoked paprika, red pepper flakes if using, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
4 Remove from heat and stir in the fresh parsley.
5 Serve the sizzling shrimp with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the shrimp.
