Chicken Parmesan Pasta
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breasts, breaded and cooked, sliced
12 oz spaghetti or your favorite pasta
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup fresh basil or parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1 Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2 In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the garlic until fragrant about 1 minute.
3 Add the marinara sauce to the skillet and heat through.
4 Add the cooked chicken slices into the sauce, stirring to coat.
5 Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce with the chicken, then transfer to a baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
6 Bake at 375F 190C for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7 Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot. Enjoy!
