Mardi Gras King Cake
Celebrate Mardi Gras with this festive and colorful cake!
Ingredients:
1 can of cinnamon rolls 8 rolls
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 cups powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp milk
Purple, green, and yellow food coloring
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C.
Unroll the cinnamon rolls and place them in a greased circular baking pan to form a ring shape.
Mix the sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle it over the top of the rolls.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
While the cake bakes, make the glaze by combining powdered sugar and milk. Divide it into 3 bowls. Add food coloring to each bowl purple, green, yellow.
Once the cake has cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top in alternating colors.
