Flourless Chocolate Cake
A rich, dense cake for all the chocolate lovers out there!
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter
8 oz semi-sweet chocolate chopped
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
5 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. Grease and line an 8-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and chopped chocolate together over low heat, stirring until smooth.
Remove from heat and whisk in the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft.
Let the cake cool completely before removing from the pan. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
