Crunchy French Onion Chicken
A flavorful chicken dish with a crispy, onion-packed crust!
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup French fried onions crushed
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. Grease a baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise or yogurt, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Spread the mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
Combine the crushed French fried onions and shredded cheese in a separate bowl. Press this mixture firmly onto the top of each chicken breast to create a crust.
Arrange the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through internal temperature of 165F/74C and the crust is golden and crispy.
