Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake:
Ingredients
1 box 15.25 oz strawberry cake mix
1 can 21 oz strawberry pie filling
1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened and cut into small pieces
1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
1/4 cup granulated sugar optional for added sweetness
Optional toppings: whipped cream, fresh strawberries, or powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Layer Ingredients:
Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared dish.
Dot the pie filling with the small pieces of cream cheese, distributing them evenly.
Prepare the Cake Mix:
In a bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix with milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract if using. Stir until just combined. The batter will be thick.
Assemble the Cake:
Spoon the cake batter over the strawberry and cream cheese mixture. Spread it as evenly as possible, but it doesnt need to be perfect.
Bake:
Bake for 3540 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cake is set. A toothpick inserted into the cake portion should come out clean.
Cool and Serve:
Let the dump cake cool for 1015 minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, or powdered sugar.
