Big Mac wraps

Ingredients Serves 4

For the Wraps:

4 large flour tortillas

1 lb 450g ground beef

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder optional

1/2 tsp onion powder optional

4 slices of cheddar or American cheese

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup diced pickles

1/4 cup diced white onion

For the Special Sauce:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp ketchup

2 tbsp sweet pickle relish

1 tsp white vinegar

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

1. Make the Special Sauce:

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, onion powder, paprika, and garlic powder.

Mix well and set aside in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the wraps.

2. Cook the Beef:

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.

3. Assemble the Wraps:

Warm the flour tortillas slightly in a microwave or skillet to make them pliable.

Spread 1-2 tablespoons of the special sauce in the center of each tortilla.

Add a slice of cheese on top of the sauce.

Spoon cooked ground beef over the cheese, followed by shredded lettuce, diced pickles, and diced onions.

4. Wrap and Serve:

Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll it up tightly like a burrito.

Optionally, lightly toast the wraps in a skillet for a crispy exterior.

Slice in half and serve with extra special sauce for dipping.

Tips:

Want a healthier version? Use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef and opt for whole-wheat tortillas.

Add a bit of sesame seed to the tortillas before toasting for an authentic Big Mac bun vibe.

Enjoy your homemade Big Mac Wraps!
